Job Description

ATC Northwest is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Roseburg, OR for a 13-week assignment. As an RN in Endoscopy, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and skilled care to patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities include:

Prepping patients for endoscopic procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Administering sedation and IV medications as ordered.
Monitoring vital signs and patient condition throughout the procedure.
Assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures.
Educating patients and families on recovery and post-procedure care.
Managing pain control and maintaining patient safety at all times.
Documenting assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
Licensure: Active and valid RN license in Oregon.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in Endoscopy.
Certifications: BLS required.
Health Requirements: COVID vaccination, recent PPD or Chest X-Ray.
Must pass background check(s) and drug screening.
