About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership and stewardship. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategy of the organization, including the management of accounting, payroll, and finance functions. The CFO will also be involved in long-range strategic planning, financial modeling, and will play a key role in securing the organization's presence and future. Applicants for the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, with an active CPA license. An MBA is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' of experience, including a CFO or Controller role, with a focus on non-profit organizations. Key requirements include high-level knowledge of finance and accounting principles, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and advanced proficiency in financial management. The CFO will be expected to manage a team, mentor staff, and ensure the organization's financial systems comply with GAAP for non-profit entities.
