Looking for a hands-on accounting role where you can dive into meaningful work, collaborate closely with a small and friendly team, and maybe even geek out over board games now and then? A well-established accounting firm in Beaverton is looking to bring on a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to support growing client needs and help lead business tax projects alongside the new firm owner.


This isn't your typical cubicle-style accounting job - it's a dynamic role focused on preparing and reviewing business tax returns, conducting trial balances, and supporting clients with high-touch, personalized service. You'll work directly with Jerrod, the new owner (and current lead CPA), to split up and manage CPA-level tasks and maintain the high standard of client support the firm is known for.


Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review business tax returns for a variety of clients
• Perform trial balances to ensure financial records are accurate and ready for reporting
• Handle client communications, including answering tax and accounting questions
• Assist with year-end financial work, tax planning, and compliance
• Collaborate with the owner (and former owner) on tax strategy and workflow management
• Use the firm's secure app to communicate with clients from home without sharing personal info
• Help maintain a smooth, professional experience for clients throughout the year
• Stay current on tax laws and accounting best practices
