Logistics

• Location: Des Moines IA 50392
• Work Schedule: Hybrid (3-4 days in office per week)
• Project length: Through the end of October 2025, possible extension

Job Summary:
Manage complex new business applications from initial receipt to closure of the case.

Qualifications :

• Must develop a broad understanding of insurance operations, products and concepts.
• If dealing with Individual Life products, must develop a strong understanding of business, estate planning and personal case concepts.
• Must have strong computer skills, aptitude, and proficiency at keyboarding.
• Must exhibit quick judgment, excellent organizational skills, and accurate and precise written and verbal communication.
• Must exhibit strong relationship building with internal and external customers and be able to respond to difficult situations that require tact and diplomacy.
• Must exhibit the ability to prioritize work, maintain service standards in the face of peak times and heavy workloads, and frequent interruptions.
• Must exhibit good decision-making when working on complex casework and making exceptions during new business processing.
• Able to multi-task in a fast paced changing environment with high accuracy and within established turnaround times.
• Must work professionally and diplomatically with very demanding and diverse distribution channels.
• Must be an effective team player and a positive influence within the organization.
• Must have proven leadership skills and presentation skills. Must develop solid product knowledge across all lines.

Pay Range:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $22 /hourly.

The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
