Overview: Marvin Love and Associates is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) to lead the sales and marketing initiatives for a prestigious Marriott property. In this critical role, you will drive revenue growth by formulating and executing innovative marketing strategies and managing a high-performing sales team. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor the hotel’s sales team to exceed revenue targets and goals. Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to enhance brand positioning and visibility. Nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to maximize business opportunities. Manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources. Continuously analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions. Requirements Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years of sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Deep understanding of Marriott brand standards and hotel operations. Proven track record in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
