Elementary School Teacher (K–4th Grade)
School Professionals – Hiring on behalf of a private school in Davie & Pembroke Pines, FL
Salary: Starting at $48,500 (commensurate with certifications and experience)
Anticipated Start Date: August 4, 2025 (Students return August 11)
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM | 10-Month Calendar | Summers Off

School Professionals is now hiring Elementary School Teachers (K–4th grade) on behalf of a private, mission-driven charter school with campuses in Davie and Pembroke Pines . Job Overview

As a classroom teacher, you will create a safe, nurturing, and academically rich environment that supports students' academic, emotional, and social development. Ideal candidates are flexible, committed to differentiation, and eager to grow in a collaborative setting.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Use data to inform instruction and track progress.
  • Submit weekly lesson plans in advance (3-day lead required).
  • Collaborate with staff on interdisciplinary activities and school-wide initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly with families about student growth.
  • Support students’ emotional and social well-being.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and events.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 18 credit hours in Education or a related field
  • Eligible for or currently holds Florida Department of Education certification

Preferred Experience

  • At least 2 recent years of successful classroom teaching experience
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus, though not required
  • Willingness to participate in Montessori-based training

  • Tech-literate (Smart Boards used in all classrooms)
  • Flexible and team-oriented
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to support diverse learning styles and student needs
