We are seeking an Event Director to join our team! You will be responsible for organizing important events from conception through completion.

• Responsibilities:
• Follow up on inquiries requesting information on renting our space for weddings and other events.
• Set tours of facility and meet to discuss prospects vision and how we can fulfill it.
• Coordinate all event details and logistics including linens, decor, menu tastings and selection, floor and seating plans and personnel
• Calculate and propose budgets for internal budgets and planned events
• Maintain spreadsheets of goals and milestones including projecting future revenue and entering income, cost and profit
• Research and identify successful event opportunities to pursue.
• Maintain stock and inventory of event supplies
• Work with Chef on menu's and pricing and Golf Pro on food and beverage provisions for tournaments
• Update internal and external calendars (Website and member portal) to ensure the restaurant availability is easily available and accurate.
• Step in at busy times in restaurant if/when needed
• Qualifications:
• Previous experience in event planning or other related fields
• Strong project managing skills
• Good Organization and time management skills including multitasking

• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to work well alone and lead a team
• Good Leadership skills including constructive conflict management and team building

The Club at Clifton is a restaurant owned by and located on the grounds of Clifton Springs Country Club. We are open to the public for meals and entertainment on our deck, restaurant and lounge as well as weddings and events in our ballroom. We have a unique, family like quality among our staff and patrons due to the frequent visits by our golf membership. Everyone takes a genuine interest in each others well being, interests and success. We do not tolerate gossip and value good attitudes and work ethic. Every employee is encouraged to grow both personally and professionally. I have enjoyed my years in this role, especially meeting so many unforgettable people and getting to collaborate on what their perfect event will look like and making that dream come true. As I have taken on more of a financial role in the business I find I am spread too thin to be as effective in all of these diverse and important areas but have not found the right person.
