Our client has an immediate need for a Network/Voice Engineer to join their team in Brooklyn, NY. Responsibilities Responsible for the day-to-day operation, reliability, and integrity of the enterprise voice communications network, including installation, maintenance, and management of voice equipment such as voice servers, gateways, phones, circuits, wiring, servers, backup systems, and diagnostic tools. Design and develop Cisco unified communication architectural enhancements, troubleshoot issues, create design documentation, and establish standards aligned with engineering specifications and best practices. Partner with vendors, clients, carriers, and technical staff on VoIP implementation, optimization, security, and ongoing management. Collaborate with outside vendors on troubleshooting voice and data networks, including SIP, T1, and POTS. Perform Cisco UC administration, develop Contact Center scripting, and handle troubleshooting tasks. Maintain QoS and network design parameters, ensure CUCM integrations function properly, and work with vendors to improve those integrations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience. 4+ years working with Voice technologies; CCNA required, CCNP preferred. 4+ years managing, supporting, and deploying VoIP infrastructures with Cisco Unified Communications products such as Communications Manager, Unity Connection, Contact Center, IM&P, and CER. Experience with Low-Level Design for Unified Communications solutions. Deep understanding of SIP call flow and analysis using packet analyzers. Experience in implementation, migration planning, and solution testing. Knowledge of QoS policies across enterprise data, voice, and video solutions. #J-18808-Ljbffr NRI North America
