Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A School Psychologist position is available to provide essential support and assessment services within an elementary school setting in Cicero, IL. This contract role is designed for the upcoming school year (NSY) with an immediate start and concludes at the end of the school year (EOSY). The position offers a flexible schedule initially requiring 2-3 days per week (20-30 hours), transitioning to approximately one full day (7-8 hours) per week after a few months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive IEP evaluations primarily serving students in grades K-8
• Manage a caseload including approximately 70 students in LRE1 inclusion settings and 12 students in LRE2 self-contained classrooms, totaling around 84 IEPs
• Collaborate with specialized service staff such as the Dean of Specialized Services to support students educational and psychological needs
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and maintain confidential records

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois School Psychologist license
• Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Successful completion of a background check as required by the school
• Experience working with K-8 age group preferred
• Familiarity with conducting IEP evaluations and working within various classroom settings (inclusion and self-contained)
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Location: Cicero, IL Elementary school environment

This opportunity involves remote interviews conducted via Zoom, with availability for interviews on Wednesday afternoons after 12:30 PM CST or Thursday mornings before 12:00 PM CST.
