Survey Party Chief

We currently have a need for a Survey Party Chief in Mineola, NY.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ

• Performs surveys using robotic total stations, levels and GPS
• Perform topographic, boundary, control, utility, and construction surveys
• Perform survey calculations, upload, download, process, and map data
• Read and interrupt surveys, maps, and construction plans
• Work independently in one person crew

• 3-5 years’ experience as a Survey Party Chief
• Associate or Bachelor degree in land surveying or equivalent is preferred
• Proficient performing topographic, boundary, control, utility, and construction surveys
• Experience performing field to finish is preferred
• Ability to examine and interpret civil, architectural and structural drawings
• Superior communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License in the State of New York

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment. Compensation: $135,000-$145,000. The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidate’s qualifications and location.
